Sweet Memories

Memories… of when I was very small sitting in Granpa’s studio surrounded by glass of various colours on high shelves… listening to Schubert and watching him paint various religious icons and imagery on to glass… assembling the fragments of windows and laying out the hundreds of tiny pieces ready for him to paint… looking through panes of think blue glass and getting lost in dreams of colour.
